Meditation with Nancy (30 minutes) – $45
Join Nancy for a private 30 minute meditation practice that helps you enhance you emotional and physical healing. Props such as sound bowls can be incorporated for a personalized healing journey.
Yoga with Shelby (30 minutes) – $45
Join Nancy’s partner, Shelby, for a personalized yoga coaching session. Prior to your yoga session, there will be a 30 minute intro zoom video in order to ensure we personalize the practice in a way that will allow you to get the most out of this practice. Shelby specializes in somatic yoga which is a gentle practice, that allows you to release emotion while in physical postures.

Shelby joined Nancy at Essence of Soul 5 years ago through mutual compassion for healing and envisioning a better world for all of those around us. Shelby has her Yoga Teaching Certification and takes a keen interest in slow, gentle movements that allow for deep emotional healing.
“I stumbled upon yoga as a simple way to stretch out my sore muscles and introduce some flexibility into my life. I can distinctly remember my first yoga practice that made me want to try it again… After the lower body stretching portion of the practice, the teacher invited us to stretch both legs out and feel the difference between the one that had been stretched and the one that had not. The feeling of my stretched leg feeling physically longer than the other one was an interesting insight for me, so I tried it again the next night. Soon I found myself falling into deep yoga stretches every night before bed because of the physical feeling.
As I continued to deepen my practice, I found my love for Yin yoga and slow, long, gentle movements. This type of movement made me sit with my body in a way that, at times, sent me into a near panic attack. That is the moment my awakening began with yoga- when I realized that practicing deep stretches in places that hold trauma (like our hips), I was having true emotional releases. This practice has helped me navigate through different seasons of discomfort and personal anxiety by knowing that the power really is me.”
