Essential Point:

It is only ever “Here.”

“There” does not Exist.

Overview:

“Here vs There” highlights the Illusion of destination.

It is only ever Here. It is only ever the Journey. In this sense, and more profoundly – the Journey is the Destination.

Some basic Contemplation can help you to Realize this Truth. For when you get “There,” There becomes “Here.” This is always True.

So, where have you been? Here.

And where are you Now? Here.

And where are you going? Here.

The fallacy of the Ego is to make you Believe that a “There” exists and that you will not be Happy or satisfied Here, but only when you get “There.”

So you must get There. And you do everything in your Power to get “There.” In fact, you make endless Sacrifices and plan your entire Life around getting “There,” working tirelessly to get There, and when you finally do, it is back to Here!

So you must now try again to go get “There”. And so you make many more sacrifices and spend many more sleepless nights in the pursuit of “There” and when you finally arrive “There” it becomes “Here” once more

Fueled by the dysfunctional Ego machine, this never ending cycle continues to repeat indefinitely and more devastatingly it’s what most humans call “Life.” In this sense, “Normal” Human Life as seen by society is actually Insane and rooted in mind-made delusion.

Embedded underneath the Insanity lies the Essential Realization – it always “Here and Now”, there is no such thing as “There and Then.” It simply does not Exist. It is not Real. It is made up in your Mind and you simply Believe it to be True.

“There” and “Then” are Illusions of Destination and Time as made in the Mind that serve as Empty promises to offer you Happiness and Fulfillment. They are delusions that are further reinforced through our quite Sick society that keep you stuck in the never ending Pursuit of Happiness that is motivated through the Ego-based states of Fear and Greed. This is a Pursuit of Seeking and never Finding.

The Ego will trick you to think that something over there is going to make you more Happy or Fulfilled– “the grass is always greener on the other side,” as they say, but in Truth, once you get to the other side, once you get “There,” the grass is now greener back on the other side, which is Here. And so you once again have to go to the other side because now the other side is greener. And of course when you get back “There,” the other side is greener once more.

This Hamster Wheel cycle of Insanity never ends. It is the structural dysfunction of the Egoic Mind, and until you Realize this you will be forever caught in its Unconscious grip wondering why you are unhappy and don’t have Peace. It must be Realized that the Ego cannot be permanently satisfied because its inherent foundation is rooted in Survival Mode. only when you stop looking out “There” to be Happy “Then” and start looking in “Here,” to be Happy “Now” will you Realize it.

It is always Here, never There.

It is always Now, never Then.

Such is Truth.
